Each rounds AFL Hilites and Rising Star cards are only available to order for 24 hours, from 12 noon Tuesday to 12 noon on the Wednesday following each round in the normal season, unless scheduling change or public holiday.

Round 18 Hilites - Matt Rowell - Gold Coast SUNS
In the club's inaugural Friday night home game, the Gold Coast SUNS needed their stars to deliver against the ladder leaders, and the powerful on-baller duly delivered with a slashing display to help secure a dramatic 6-point victory. Rowell had 32 disposals, a game-high 9 inside 50s and 18 contested possessions, kicked the first goal of the match and of the second half, and laid a game-best 13 tackles.

Round 18 Rising Star - Luke Trainor - Richmond
Tall utility who was the fifth (No.21) of Richmond's 6 first-round selections from last year's Telstra AFL Draft. Trainor has played every game in his debut season and joined teammate Sam Lalor as Tigers to receive Telstra AFL Rising Star nominations after having 16 disposals, taking 5 marks and laying 5 tackles in the side's gritty 9-point win over Essendon on Saturday night. He can play at either end or on a wing.
