ROUND 11 - TUES 27th MAY 12noon to WED 28th MAY 12noon
Round 11 Hilites Milestones - Mitch Duncan - Geelong:
The popular midfielder and half-back became only the seventh Geelong Cat to play 300 games when he lined up in the blockbuster against the Western Bulldogs – 4 of the 6 before him having been teammates. A dual Premiership player (2011 and 2022), Duncan has twice finished on the podium in the Best and Fairest (third in 2014 and runner-up in 2017) and sits equal fourth at the Cats for finals played (28).
Round 11 Hilites - Kysaiah Pickett - Melbourne:
The star small forward was at his exhilarating best as Melbourne's resurgence continued – its fifth win from its past 6 matches being a 53-point smashing of the Sydney Swans. The Demon dynamo had 24 disposals and kicked 5 goals for the second time in 2025 (they were also his stats in the side's first win of the year against the Fremantle Dockers) as well as laying 4 tackles and having 6 clearances to be best afield.
Round 11 Rising Star - Angus Clarke - Essendon:
Essendon's third selection (No.39) at the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft became the third Bomber to receive a Telstra AFL Rising Star nomination in 2025 with an exceptional debut in the team's hard-fought 23-point win over Richmond. Clarke's game-high 3 goals (all kicked in the first half) from 16 disposals (4 each quarter) and 8 marks was critical to the club's sixth win of the year.
