Up against another rising ruck of the competition in Lucy Wales, Scholz more than held her own, recording 24 hitouts, 13 disposals, and most importantly, seven clearances. Port Adelaide trailed by 22 points at three-quarter time, with Scholz converting a crucial set shot halfway through the fourth term that solidified the comeback. Port Adelaide ultimately won by a single point.
