Goody didn't go through the AFLW Draft, signed ahead of time to expansion club Port Adelaide. A classy runner capable of playing through the midfield or on either flank, she didn't show any nerves from a Showdown debut. Goody had 15 touches, the third-most for her side, and sent the ball into attack a team-high six times, also kicking a goal.
