Marinoff capped off a career-best year with her maiden AFLW best and fairest victory, coming after her 2017 Rising Star victory. Named Adelaide co-captain this year, the extra responsibility drove the star midfielder to new heights, averaging 30.5 disposals, 12.4 tackles and 6.5 clearances. She was also named All-Australian vice-captain, making the team of the year for a seventh time.
