The energetic small forward lit up Mars Stadium on Sunday with 4 first quarter goals (3 in the first 12 minutes) and a match total of 6 as the Western Bulldogs won their first game of 2024. Weightman's quartet of majors in the opening stanza was part of a 9.1 blitz that set the platform for the 48-point victory. It equalled his career high, kicked in his 50th game last year against North Melbourne.
