A dazzling display from the lanky left footer was the bedrock for the Brisbane Lions demolition of the Western Bulldogs by 43 points. For the third time in his career Hipwood booted 6 goals (first time since 2019) and he also recorded career highs for disposals (20), kicks (16) and marks (13) in a wonderful exhibition of forward craft. Four of his goals came by half-time as the Lions raced to a 33-point lead.
