North Melbourne’s second Rising Star winner (and first in a quarter of a century since Byron Pickett in 1998) is the classy Sheezel, who polled 54 of a possible 55 votes after a splendid debut season in which he led the Kangaroos for disposals at 27 per match in playing as a rebounding half-back. The No.3 pick at the 2022 NAB AFL Draft played every game and had at least 30 disposals on 12 occasions.
