A spectacular return from the bubbly small forward in his 50th AFL game as he provided the spark for the Western Bulldogs to snap their 3-game losing streak with a hard-fought 21-point victory over North Melbourne. Weightman booted a career-high 6 goals (all after quarter-time and including 3 in the third quarter) from a career-best 13 kicks as well as hauling in 7 marks – 2 of them brilliant contenders for the Mark of the Round.
