The brilliant Collingwood playmaker was the pivotal midfield figure in the Magpies epic 1-point win over the GIANTS to reach their first Grand Final since 2018. De Goey had an astonishing 13 clearances among his team-high 34 disposals (17 kicks and 17 handballs), with half of them contested. The 27-year-old, who had 10 disposals in the first and third quarters, and 7 in the second and final terms, punctuated his performance with 6 score involvements and 5 inside 50s.
