2022 Round 5 Hilites - Matthew Taberner - Fremantle

The biggest individual bag of goals in the AFL so far in 2022 was one of many highlights for the Fremantle Dockers as they moved to second on the ladder after steamrolling Essendon by 8 goals at Marvel Stadium. Taberner’s career-high 7.0 from 10 kicks (previous best of 5 in 2016) included 4 in the third quarter as the visitors booted 6.3 to 2 behinds to torch the Bombers. The 28-year-old has been the club’s leading goalkicker for the past 2 years.
