Hawthorn skipper Bates led from the front in her side's 37-point win over the GIANTS. The star midfielder recorded 34 disposals, eight clearances, six inside 50s and kicked a goal, dominating in a number of facets as the Hawks locked up a maiden AFLW finals appearance. The 34 touches is a career-high for Bates, coming in her 84th game.
