Midfielder Mithen had a busy day both in the middle and up forward in Melbourne's 17-point preliminary final victory over North Melbourne. The smaller Mithen wasn't fazed by the bigger Kangaroo opponents, recording 16 disposals, two clearances and a goal (via a 50m penalty). Mithen also set up Daisy Pearce for the sealer with a beautiful kick across 50.
