In another drama-filled Easter Monday clash, punctuated by a 40-minute delay at three-quarter-time due to lightning near the MCG, the milestone man eventually got to celebrate becoming only the 24th player to reach 350 games. Hawkins had a profound effect on the result too; booting an equal game-high 4 goals, including 2 in the first quarter as the Geelong Cats raced to a 36-point lead (which was the final margin).
