The Collingwood champion became the first player in AFL history to have 10,000 career disposals when he handpassed to ruckman Darcy Cameron in front of the MCC Members Stand late in the first quarter on ANZAC Day at the MCG. It was the fourth of Pendlebury's 23 disposals in the epic draw against Essendon as the 36-year-old played his 390th game. His career tally of 10,019 is made up of 5010 kicks and 5009 handballs.
