The exciting St Kilda half-forward took a Mark of the Year contender among his 6 grabs as he picked up the Round 8 nomination for the Rising Star award in the Saints 30-point victory over North Melbourne. Phillipou, the No. 10 pick at last year's NAB AFL Draft, has played every game in his debut season (including kicking 3 goals in his second match) and had 13 disposals, 5 score involvements and laid 4 tackles against the Kangaroos.
