The angular defender has made an impressive start to his AFL career, playing all 5 games so far in 2023 and picking up this week's Rising Star nomination after another composed performance in the Adelaide Crows thrashing of Carlton to open Gather Round. His 10 disposals (at 90% efficiency) included 4 intercept possessions, 3 inside 50s and 3 score involvements while he also laid 4 tackles as the Crows backline kept the Blues to just 9.8.
