The Western Bulldogs captain continued his red-hot form in his side's 55-point thrashing of Richmond with equal season-highs for disposals (32) and goals (3). Bontempelli torched the Tigers with 9 disposals in the first quarter as the Bulldogs piled on 9.3 to race to a 44-point lead and his output didn't diminish as he booted all 3 of his majors in the third term to slam the door shut on any potential comeback. The 27-year-old also had an equal match-best 10 clearances and laid 9 tackles.
