The star Port Adelaide midfielder joined the list of post-siren heroes with an amazing goal to sink a gallant Essendon in the wet at the MCG and extend the Power’s winning streak to 12. Marking a desperate clearing kick by Bomber Nic Martin on the 50m arc, Houston launched a 55m drop punt in the greasy conditions which just cleared the hands of 6 Essendon defenders. It was the 26-year-old’s match-high 32nd disposal, in a best afield performance.
