In just his fourth game and 4 days shy of his 19th birthday. Weddle played a stunning game in Hawthorn’s record-breaking thrashing of the West Coast Eagles in Launceston. The young on-baller picked up the Round 10 Rising Star nomination for his 28 disposals and 2 goals as the Hawks registered their biggest ever victory over the Eagles (116 points) and held them to the fourth-lowest score (26 points) kicked against the Hawks in history.
