The electrifying small forward returned from a minor hamstring issue to be the fire-starter in Collingwood's hard-fought Qualifying Final win over Melbourne. In a match in which only 16 goals were kicked, Hill booted a game-high 3 including the first 2 inside the opening 6 minutes. The 23-year-old also kicked the opening major of the second half to give the Magpies a 21-point lead in an encounter they ultimately won by just 7 points.
