2022 Round 2 Hilites - Lance Franklin - Sydney Swans

Late in the final quarter – and with his final kick of the night – the left-footed superstar became only the sixth player in AFL history to kick 1000 career goals when he slotted his fourth major in the Sydney Swans 30-point win over the Geelong Cats. It was Franklin’s 420th goal as a Swan after 580 with Hawthorn, as he joined Tony Lockett (1360), Gordon Coventry (1299), Jason Dunstall (1254), Doug Wade (1057) and Gary Ablett Snr (1031) in the most exclusive of clubs.
