2021 Round 13 Rising Star - Riley Thilthorpe - Adelaide

The overall No.2 pick at last year’s NAB AFL Draft was a standout in the wet in Cairns. The young key forward kicked the final 2 goals of the game to cap a remarkable comeback by the Adelaide Crows to snatch victory against St Kilda. His third major of the night, with just over a minute remaining, came from a left-foot snap over his head and gave his side the lead for the first time in the match. Earlier in the season Thilthorpe had booted 5 goals on debut against Hawthorn on Anzac Day.
