2021 Hilites Milestones - Nathan Jones - 300 Games

The annual Anzac Day Eve clash between Melbourne and Richmond provided the perfect backdrop for the rugged midfielder to become only the second player in the history of the nation’s oldest football club to reach 300 games. Jones joined his former captain David Neitz (306) when he had 16 disposals in the Demons 34-point win over the reigning premiers in front of 56,418 fans. The 33-year-old is a 3-time Best and Fairest winner (2012-14) and the club’s second-longest serving captain.
