The veteran Geelong Cats skipper became the foundation club’s games record holder when he led his side to victory over the GIANTS in a Semi Final in Perth. The tough midfielder overtook 3-time Premiership teammate Corey Enright in playing his 333rd game – amazing durability to average 22 matches a year for 15 seasons. A triple Best and Fairest winner and 6-time All-Australian, Selwood is also on the cusp of taking the AFL record for most games as captain.
