Optimum 2022 is the fourth AFL release for Select in 2022.

The second release of Optimum, Optimum 2022 features a number of the popular inserts from Optimum 2021 and also introduces a range of new insert sets.  

A highlight of Optimum 2022 is the return of the 3 levels of Optimum Draft Pick Signatures - Copper, Gold and Platinum numbered to 175, 85 and 40 respectively.

The series also sees the return of Optimum+, Optimum+ Platinum, 2021 All Australian, Medal Winners and Optimum Mirror Dual Signatures. 

This series introduces Futures and Matrix and Optimum Mirror Signatures (single card autograph).

The Futures series features 5 of the best young players from each of the AFL teams and numbered to 95 and the Matrix series features 6 star players from each team and are all individually numbered to 80.

This year there are two All Australian Series. One series is available every 48 packs and limited to 195 cards whilst a more limited series All Australian - Metal is featured every 120 packs and limited to 80 cards only. 

Also returning is a collector favourite Footy's Finest which features one player from each club and with each card limited to 80 cards only.

The Optimum Mirror series features a past and current player who have worn the same jumper number at the same club.  In Optimum 2022 the signature series has been extended. There are now single Optimum Mirror autograph cards of each of the 36 featured players together with the Optimum Mirror Dual Signature cards which features the two players from each club signing the same card.

Only 700 cases / 8,400 boxes have been produced.
