Collingwood skipper Brianna Davey made her long-awaited return from a second knee reconstruction under Friday night lights in the season-opener. But the powerful midfielder showed nerves of steel to dominate the contest, particularly in the first half. Davey finished with 35 disposals, 11 clearances (seven ahead of the next player) and kicked a goal to the raucous celebrations of her teammates.
