The classy left-footer was the architect in setting up the GIANTS 4-goal win over St Kilda in the 2nd Elimination Final with 19 first-half disposals and 2 second-quarter goals (one of them the goal of the match) to help his side to a 23-point lead at the main change. Kelly finished with 27 disposals for 622m gained and received maximum AFL Coaches Association votes (10) for the Gary Ayres Best Finals Player award.
