2022 Finals Week 2 Hilites SF2 - Eric Hipwood - Brisbane Lions

The Brisbane Lions knocked reigning premiers Melbourne out of the finals with a stirring comeback at the MCG – the club’s first win at the venue in 8 years and its first finals victory away from the Gabba since 2004. Trailing by 28 points just before half-time, the Lions booted 12 of the last 17 goals, with the athletic left-footer kicking 3 of his match best 4 majors in a third quarter blitz where the visitors notched 6.1 to 2.3. Hipwood took 4 marks inside 50 and also had 2 goal assists.
